Multi-Tree Removal & Pruning on Lakeview Lane, Osceola, WI
Multi-Species Removals, River Birch Pruning, Low-Impact Turf Protection
Osceola’s got that classic St. Croix Valley feel, with mature timber lining quiet residential streets right near the water. When we pulled up to the property on Lakeview Lane in Osceola, it didn’t take long to see why keeping the landscape tidy and safe matters so much around here. There’s a great mix of hardwoods and conifers tucked right up against the driveway, garage, and front road, but a few declining trees were starting to crowd the home and pose real hazards.
This job took a careful approach because we weren’t just taking down a single tree—we had four distinct hazards to handle across the lot. Up front by the road, an 18-inch Ash was in bad shape and needed to go before it couldn’t hold its own weight. Over by the garage, a pair of Elms were growing way too tight to the roofline, while a dead 6-inch Spruce sat right behind the back corner of the home. To clear a safe path for the tree removal near the garage, we also pruned a tagged 3-inch branch off a triple-stem River Birch near the driveway and cleaned out its lower deadwood up to 15 feet.
To work safely around the structures without tearing up the grass, Ethan and the crew relied on our Nifty Lift SD 64 man lift. It’s built with extra-wide turf tires that distribute weight so we don’t leave deep ruts in fresh lawn. For the heavy lifting, we deployed our tracked skid steer with a grapple bucket, grabbing heavy limbs directly out of the air so nothing slammed into the ground or damaged the surrounding landscape.
Once every targeted trunk was cut down as low as possible, we fired up the grapple truck and hauled away every last stick, log, and piece of brush. We finished up by blowing off the driveway and raking down the lawn until there wasn’t a speck of debris left behind. It’s always a treat working near the lake in Chisago and St. Croix county, and leaving Larry with a safer, wide-open yard was a job well done.
