Our Solution and Equipment
We timed this project for early spring, which is the absolute premier window for planting new evergreens and transplanting existing ones while minimizing root shock. Our planting crew hit the ground running by installing twenty premium, 5-foot ball-and-burlap (B&B) Techny arborvitaes along the primary boundary line. We selected the Techny variety specifically because of its superior, broader growth pattern. Unlike narrower, columnar varieties, Technies expand beautifully in width, allowing us to cover massive linear footage with fewer trees while creating a tighter, denser, and more cohesive green screen.
To clean up the landscape’s overall aesthetic, we carefully excavated and transplanted the existing mismatched clump of arborvitaes, moving them to a secondary location in the back of the yard. This cleared the way for a perfectly straight, uniform, and uninterrupted privacy line. To wrap up the job and guarantee the homeowners’ investment took strong root, we deployed our deep root fertilization equipment.
